Hands-On Dental Assistant Training in Grand Junction, CO

I am a graduate of IntelliTec College and I am currently a medical assistant. I am currently working in my field at a pain clinic; we help people with all kind of pain, so it’s overall great . I did earn my RMA certification. My favorite part of the program was the communication, the attention, the support that they have there. It’s not just a building, it’s a family; they got you .

I used to do flooring and it just started getting hard on me; I figured [electrical] would be a definite trade and maybe I’d be making more money…My vision for my future is to become an electrician and I might try to become a master. I seen a flyer for the program and I looked them up and figured it’s probably a good fit for me… If anything, it was a confidence booster for me because of getting the good grades and realizing I know what I’m doing. Honestly, my favorite part was all of it; it was kind of rough starting, but once I got into it, I was right into the groove . Shout out to all my instructors — Morgan, Brandon, Demetrius, and Tim.

I just got my associates with CNST at IntelliTec College. Before I came to IntelliTec, I was graduating from CTU with my bachelor’s degree. IntelliTec had programs that were a little bit on the easier side of getting certifications…My favorite part of IntelliTec was being the work study and tutoring students to have them succeed.

Before I came to IntelliTec, I had just graduated from high school, so I was working and IntelliTec helped me get the courage to get back into school. I really liked when we went and we externed at the places; I ended up externing at this foot clinic and it was so cool. It made me realize that I’m really good at customer service, so that was nice. I want to work in plastic surgery eventually — just working in the field of helping people. My advice is to always give it a try to the very end…you’ll meet some cool people.

I earned my RMA certification…Before I came to IntelliTec, I was working graveyard shifts at Come and Go and Maverick. I did the whole transition; I then was doing night classes on top of working graveyard shifts, and I’m a full-time mom of five… I was also working at a detox facility to try to start some kind of medical field so that I would kind of get an idea of how things were going. My vision for my future in the next five years, I want to own my own house. I plan on going back to the medical field; I actually want to work in Pediatrics more. I really loved it… I want to give a huge shout out to Robbie—he’s one of the main reasons that I completed the courses—and Serena; they were huge supporters.

I graduated from the Cosmetology program at IntelliTec. My experience is really good. I loved it a lot. The instructors there are super nice. They help you with everything that you need help with. They make sure to really get into detail about everything. That way you don’t miss a single detail and when you go out into the field, you’re actually prepared. I definitely would recommend IntelliTec just because everyone there is super friendly, everyone is super nice and they make sure that you get through what you need to get through in order to graduate.

Found out about Intellitec through my older step brother who took the automotive course. Incredibly easy and painless enrollment process with super helpful instructors and staff. The electrical technician program representative Brandon is very thorough and attentive, my CCR course instructor Mr. Kirk made each day fun and handled the class very well. I can confidently say I’ve had a better experience here than any other educational program.

I graduated from [IntelliTec] as an electrical apprentice. I was just working full time, didn’t really have a career; so I looked into IntelliTec and they provided me with that, with the schooling and the hands-on learning . My vision for my future is to become an electrician, knock those four years out of apprenticeship and become a journeyman and just go on from there.My favorite part was probably the hands-on learning. It was cool to see everything in the residential area and practice . The tiny house was a lot of fun—wiring that up and grounding it and running wire through it . I chose IntelliTec because it was pretty close to where I work and they were really helpful and helped me get those first steps into the door of learning and getting ready.

just want to say this program is really good at refining your skills if you’re a seasoned tech and good at starting skills if you’re a new tech. I was hired and worked at Dan’s automotive and was also hired at Rich Ford during the program. Career advisors will really get you into the job you want. I learned a lot about basic care systems and how to diagnose them. Diagnosing is a crucial part of the whole job so you need to be really good at diagnosing. My parents inspired me to get into this field. My dad wanted me to either be in the military or join a trade and they said I wouldn’t be strong enough to be a mechanic so I wanted to prove them wrong and now me and my dad work on cars together!

I got the associates and I did earn my RMA certification. I am working in my field currently; I work at Colorado ENT and Allergy. Before I graduated IntelliTec, I was working at CSL Plasma and before then Pearson. I’m thinking about going back into school, probably going for my nursing or maybe even going to PA school to just get further into medical. A good friend of mine that I met at my old job told me about IntelliTec and that’s how I ended up here. I had a blast every day; Miss Q, Robbie, Mama Lowe—all great people.

I earned my certificate and I am currently working in the field; I am a medical assistant over at Associates in Gastroenterology on North Circle. I think the teachers really made it for me. I was going through a really difficult time and they helped me out a lot. Roby is so fun and entertaining and Thorne is always there for questions and answers and Q is just—I could have a bad day walking [in] and she was just always there . I already had medical experience—I was eight years medical, so I used to be a Navy Corpsman—but being a medical assistant was new] and going to college the way I was was very new to me because I’d never gone to school outside of high school

I was doing home health for about four and a half years before I thought about advancing my career. I chose IntelliTec because they seemed like they would help you be more successful and to graduate faster, quicker, but also you would learn the skills and all the necessary things you need.My favorite instructor was Miss Q; she’s very funny, very helpful, and she knows how to keep her classroom very lively. My vision is to take this certificate that I’ve earned and just keep going forward and use this as a stepping stone in my life and my career. I got hired at a cardiology office; I do EKGs, vitals, a lot of direct patient care and I love it.

My favorite class would be the AC and refrigerant; my favorite teacher was Mr. McBride . I felt like I was really good at that. In class it was an ongoing joke—I was the ‘AC wizard’ because I got everything correct . If you’re going to enroll into IntelliTec, don’t be afraid. When you get into your actual field and you get your hands-on experience in your class, it’s going to be a blast. You’re going to make a lot of friends and you’re going to have a lot of knowledge

Excellent school, this school has helped me build my confidence in a new career. The MA program is a wonderful career. The teachers are amazing especially Ms.Danielle she is a patient, kind and loving towards all her students. She takes care of us, she is willing to go out her way to help her students. She will guide us towards success.

I graduated from the Cosmetology program here in IntelliTec. I am a licensed Cosmetologist working in my field as a full licensed Cosmetology. I just want to tell other graduates that keep going strong, head strong, do what you want and what you love.

My name is Reagan Ogden and I attended the Cosmetology program at IntelliTec. I am graduating. I have a job lined up; I work in Springs at a nail salon called Frenchies—it’s an eco-friendly nail salon. My favorite teachers, I have two of them; they would have to be Adonis and Sonia. I think the thing that I love the most was just being surrounded by my friends and I just really love the people that I went to school with. I would say to do it because it is very good and it’s cost-effective. So, yes, it works out.

Best place to get started with your career, I had amazing instructor’s who care deeply about your progression, throughout the time spent in college and afterwards. Ms. lo , Mr. Thorn , Ms. Q , Ms. Serena , Mr. Joe have played a huge role in my success today. If you want a change in your life & amazing people to be around this is the place to start. Thank you ALL!!!! Wouldn’t change a thing!

Honestly, if you’re looking to get into a trade and you don’t know where to start I definitely would recommend this place. I was skeptical about going back to school and where to even start but when I got recommended Intellitec I dont regret my decision. The Staff and students here are great and understand. The learning opportunities are endless and the job placement is really great.

After I graduated I did get hired at the office I did my required externship at.  I now work at Hudson Family dental….I thoroughly enjoyed the people I was in class with.  I really enjoyed my instructors.  I think they did a phenomenal job, especially for someone like me who didn’t really take school all that seriously her entire life, and it took a chance and you know that’s really all that education and extending your education really is.

My favorite part about school was the teachers just encouraging me and making me feel my most authentic self.  I just work from home. I do wig sales and I did it.  I graduated and I got my license!

I’m a service member, active duty from the US Navy.  I graduated from the Computer Network program and I use my skills everyday.  Hooyah! I heard about IntelliTech from my friend who went through the program a year before me.   I thought it was cool to join and I’m here now, graduated!

I graduated from the CST program and what I really liked about the program is that it allowed someone like me, who doesn’t really have a background in that field to not only grasp the information but really retain it with the added training and lectures and the community of classmates.  I really appreciate intellitec for allowing me to start my career.  I work for the Bernalillo County’s IT department.

I graduated from CST as a computer technician and I’m excited…All my hard work and encouragement, I encourage everyone to come to IntelliTec and just try it out.  I think it’s the best college I ever had.  They always taught me a lot of things.  It’s a hard journey to push yourself and everything and all the instructors are amazing.

Right now I’m working as a CNA but I’m really looking forward to working as a medical assistant because it’s important. As a medical assistant you need to do a lot of work to help people and I enjoy it so much and I love to meet people to try to help them out.  The fact that I’ve become a qualified medical assistant with help from all the teachers you know the lectures they were so good and accommodating they’re always ready to help out and that’s really important in training.

I graduated from the Medical Assistant program and work for New Mexico Clinical Research and Osteoporosis Center.  I’d like to give a shout out to MS Danielle and MS Tilly for being the most awesome teachers that I could have ever had in this program.  And thanks to intelliTec, I’m graduating!

I graduated from the automotive program Under Louisville he was a good program he was a good teacher kept us informed helped me get into the career I’m in now at Wagner Equipment I’m on big equipment now so I seem to like that I get to rebuild and tear apart big equipment engines I really like the program and would recommend it to whoever else

I decided to come back into the automotive industry and realize that this was something that I really wanted to do.  I really love to work on cars and trucks, so this school has blessed me with great instructors Gilbert Sanchez, Stephen White, Robert Overton and Carlos Hercules.  It’s just been a great experience.  They are not only great instructors, but great people who actually care about people and will help you in any way, shape, or form.

I am an automotive technician. I graduated from IntelliTec for the automotive technician degree. The best part about the class was getting to be hands-on and learn everything about cars.  I’ve earned my certifications in brake and alignment, steering, suspension, engine diagnostic. I am working in my field and I was in school actually. It made it really easy.

I graduated from HVAC at Intellitech.  I already got a job in the field….I like brazing, working on metal and hydronics.

I graduated from massage therapy.  I’m working at Massage Envy right now.  This program that I went through was the best school I ever went…The massage therapy program was amazing.  The teachers were amazing.  I couldn’t thank them enough.  They taught me so much.
